In art 4th grade we are making clay tiles, so far most kids are glazing their tiles. Everyone has different creative ideas.  Some people are done with both tiles. When some tiles fired some broke, but most people could fix them.

Fifth grade has produced a newspaper in Mr. Bustillos’ class.  Click on the image to download and read the whole newspaper.

Fourth grade is working on a PBL project (project based learning) to convince people to vote. We are using a television set in the computer lab. We are actually using real equipment to video each other.

Archery was fun at Family Fun & Fitness with our friends. It was awesome because I hit the middle. -Riosin O’driscoll

We were doing a Native American Indian test after reading a book called Squanto.  Squanto was a very courageous Native American that helped the Pilgrims live.

Third graders where doing Market Day learning about money. The fact that I got to go back was awesome. It reminded me of memories in 3rd grade.

Two classes are doing field day in the black top. These are two people doing physical education. They’re also rotating to different stations.

4th grade is doing a PBL(project based leaning) on native Americans. As a class ,we are learning about different tribes. So far we have learned about 4 tribes Coahuiltecan, Comanche, Caddo and Apache.  We learned were they lived, what they eat, and what they used for transportation.

Students learned a little bit about how to run a business and manage a budget by participating in 3rd grade”s PBL.  Today was Market Day, when the classrooms are opened up and many “small businesses” sell their wares.

At Family Fun and Fitness we did many fun activities like Tug-a-war and the sack race and much much more. There were many things to do and it was an amazing day. It was a great day to socialize and be athletic.

We were delighted by a performance of the Travis High School Band today.  Next year our fifth graders may choose to take band as an elective.

Thank you to Ms. King and to Mr. Kennedy (who teaches band at Fulmore) for arranging this fun break today!

Archery is the HARDEST. The only person good at it was Mr.Carlson, but he has been going there longer than the rest of us. (He got a bulls eye multiple times.)

We are eating dinner in the dinning hall. I think that night we had chicken, rolls, and rice.

On our last day we had a beautiful sunset with many colors. The lake is in the backround with the boathouse.
