Ellissa Ulrich is one of the new recruits who applied to photojournalism. Her favorite animal is a panda, She likes how cute and cuddly they are. She loves both of her teachers but if she had to pick a favorite it would be Ms.Esquivel because of her sense of humor. Ellissa’s favorite sport is swimming, and she would swim everyday if she could. Her favorite thing to do when she swims is jump of the diving board.

Flowers for Friends

For Valentines Day we are selling flowers. We can buy the flowers for friends, family, and teachers. We are using the money from the Flowers for Friend to raise money for the school. We might buy a swing set or an aquarium.

4th Grade Math

In 4th grade we are working on decomposing fractions. Decomposing fractions are reducing them to the simplest form such as make 4/12 into 1/3. We are also doing a lot of GoMath!  We are trying to hit 30 Think Through Math lessons. Think Through Math is an online math                                     program.

Fourth Grade Music

In fourth grade music we are learning how to play the  recorders. We have learned “Hot Cross Buns”, “Au Clair De La Lune”, and “Merrily we Roll-a-Long.”

Going On A Nature Walk!

 

We had this awesome view when we went on a nature walk around the block of the school.

We went on a nature walk for science because we were learning about plants, and that’s how we started our unit!
