Principal Update & Coffee Chat Mar 26

Our next schedule Principal Update & Coffee Chat is Friday, Mar. 26th, 10-11am.  The Coffee Chat theme is: Screen Time

Screen time has become a frequent and important topic discussed among parents. If you’ve ever had thoughts such as: Am I letting my child have too much screen time? How much is too much? Will screens ruin my child’s development?, then our next counselor presentation is for you! Join Mrs. Piedra and Ms. Cano for our next parent coffee, where we will have a safe place to discuss frequent concerns around screen time and what healthy screen time means for each family.

 

Calendar Reminders

  • No school (DOI): March 12.
  • Dual Language Enrollment for 2021-2022 ends on March 12.
  • Spring Break is March 15-19.  School resumes on March 22.

THE GOOD SAMARITAN Food Distribution

  • Where: The Good Samaritan, 7000 Woodhue Drive, Austin, TX 78745

District Of Innovation Professional Development Days (No school for students)

Travis ECHS Vertical Team DOI Day: 03/12/2021 and 04/02/2021.  These dates are student holidays and staff development days.  Please be sure to mark your calendar.

 

New and Returning Student Registration for 2021-2022 School Year

Online Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is open! Parents will need to access the online registration through the Parent Portal. You can find specific registration directions HERE and attached below. If you need assistance please call the AISD Parent Support Line at 512-414-9187.

Transfers and Dual Language Applications

The beginning of the transfer season for 2021-2022 will be delayed. The frozen schools announcement will also be delayed. Please check back on this website for updates as they become available. All deadlines will be pushed back as well. Thank you for your patience.

Applications for enrollment into Dual Language programs for the elementary 2021-22 school year are being accepted NOW through March 12, 2021.
