Looking to get involved at THES? Want to help in your child’s classroom or chaperone a field trip? Awesome! Your next step is to attend a Volunteer Training (required every 2 years).
The next Volunteer training dates are:
- Monday, Oct. 3rd, 1:30pm
- Tuesday, Oct. 18th, 8am
- Thursday, Oct. 27th, 6pm

Carnival is coming!
We need gently used toys for carnival prizes – so take this opportunity to declutter and drop off your donations in the box by the office.
Also be sure to check out the flier to see what your grade level is tasked with bringing to carnival and other ways to help make this festival as fun and awesome as can be.
Volunteer Corner
Scientists Needed!
We are looking for additional Scientists to present at our annual Young Scientist Day on November 10th. If you or someone you know is a scientist who would enjoy leading a session for 3rd-5th grade students, please contact volunteers@travisheightselementary.com for more information.
Wednesday Folder Volunteers
Even though you are clearly an e-folder fan, we still have many families who need to receive their information in paper form. Volunteers are needed to fill these folders each Wednesday morning. It’s an easy task when we have lots of volunteers. Just swing by the cafeteria after drop off on Wednesdays, and stay as long as you are able. No commitment necessary, come when you can. This is also a great place to meet other parents and catch up on all the latest THES happenings. Hope to see you next Wednesday!
