Happy Wednesday All!
As you know it’s Teacher Appreciation Week. Be sure to take a little time this week to show our wonderful teachers som love. Give them a note, volunteer to do something a little extra for them, give them a smile and a big Thank You! Their jobs are not easy, and yet they do it with grace and aplomb. You can tell how special they are by how much our kiddos love them and love them they do! We are lucky to have a such a big collection of wonderful teachers guiding our kids. Thank you Teachers!! You rock!!
This Friday it’s Pre-k through 2nd graders turn to have a blast at Family Fun and Fitness Day! Whoop! Whoop! Details in the fliers below. Be sure to read it to see what your grade level is assigned to bring. It’s always a great time to run around and play with the kids. Take some photos and send them to communications @ travisheightselementary . com and we will make a gallery of the day online.
You will notice a form in your Wednesday folder or registration packet titled “Thunderbird Directory”. We are attempting to get a jumpstart on next year and have an organized centralized system of directory information for better communication with you. Please take a moment and fill out the form and return it in your folder. Thank you! If you need another form you can download it below in the information section of this post.
Come to a district 9 meeting on Wednesday, May 14th at Travis Heights Elementary School cafeteria right after drop off.
The city council will now be made up of 10 council members that are elected by district and the mayor elected at large.
We will discuss what issues we want addressed by our district 9 council member.

Access to Quality Health Care
