Dyslexia and Virtual Learning Lunch-and-Learn

Texas parents and teachers, please join Dr. Rachel Robillard and Shannon Meroney for a free lunch-and-learn webinar on how to support your dyslexic student during virtual learning as we start the new school-year.

Dr. Robillard is an educator, retired professor, psychologist and grandmother of a dyslexic student, who formerly headed the Austin Independent School District’s 504 Services Department, including reimagining evaluation and intervention of dyslexia services. She will discuss the ways you can optimize learning for your dyslexic student while they attend “virtual school.”

Shannon Meroney is a lobbyist, dyslexia advocate, and mother of two dyslexic students who was instrumental in helping to get the landmark dyslexia-related provisions included in the recent sweeping and historic school finance bill HB-3. She will address the impact of HB-3 on our dyslexic students in the COVID era.
