Here at Travis Heights Elementary, we’re celebrating National Poetry Month with Poem in Your Pocket Day on Tuesday, April 24th, 2018. Here’s how it will go for our students
:
Write your own original poem, and on the 24th you can read it to at least 5 people and have them sign their name on the back. Then, you’ll take your poem to Mrs. Underwood.
Everyone that participates will receive a small prize AND the winners of the poetry contest will also receive a bigger prize!
So… if you haven’t written your poem yet, you’d better get started!
