Happy Wednesday Thunderbirds!

FALL CARNIVAL WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!
Thanks to all who joined us last Friday at the Fall Carnival! What a fun-filled evening and an incredible fundraising success – we surpassed our $10,000 fundraising goal! That means $10,000 to help fund the programs our kids and school so desperately need. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers and everyone who brought in a donation for a prize, concessions or a cake for the cakewalk. The Carnival can only happen because of the hard work of volunteers and the contributions from the school and community. We would also like to give our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors that made some of the fun booths possible and business that donated raffle prizes. STORYBOOK CHARACTER DRESS UP DAY ON HALLOWEEN
THES will host a school-wide Storybook Character Parade on Thursday, October 31st. Students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook character. Students who are dressed as a Storybook Character will get to walk in the parade and parents are welcome to attend. Students may choose any character from a book they enjoy following the guidelines below. To support students’ feelings of safety and security in our building, violent or frightening costumes are not acceptable. No weapons or dangerous-looking items will be permitted to accompany a costume. Accessories such as wigs, masks, face paint or anything that could be considered distracting are to remain at home. Books are a required part of the costume.

FLU SHOTS

Don’t let the flu knock you out of school! Free flu vaccinations are being offered at THES to all students. If you’d like your child to get a flu shot, please complete the flu consent form and return it to the school by that date. If you need a paper copy, stop by the office.
