Can you believe Fall is finally here? Celebrate the first day of the new season with us during Fall Beautification Day at THES this Saturday, September 22nd at 9am. All are welcome! Bring your children, relatives, neighbors, and anyone who enjoys working outside and meeting new friends. Whether you stay one hour or the entire day, that is fine by us. Also FREE TACOS 🌮 & COFFEE! ☕️ !!
Used Book Fair 📚📚
October 2–4, 8am–3pm
It’s new to you! Please support the THES library by purchasing used books for just 50 cents each during the Used Book Fair in the Thunderbird library. If you have some free time on Monday, October 1, we could also use some help taking library inventory and setting up for the fair. Please contact Mrs. Underwood to sign up!
Prime Time is Back!!
October 6–November 16
The Prime Time enrichment program returns for the fall, Tuesday, October 9 through Friday, November 16! Classes take place after school from 3:15-4:15. Students are provided a light snack before their class.
Students will be assigned to ONE class, based on availability. We will do our best to place students in their first choice, but classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. Check out the pdf below to get the list of classes and registration form.

We will be hosting a free flu clinic this year on October 30, and offering flu shots at no cost. Please check this week’s Wednesday folder for more info, or you can register online.
Volunteer Orientation Days
We have two volunteer orientation days left:
- Thursday September 20th @ 8am
- Tuesday, September 25th @8am
All volunteers (including field trip chaperones) must submit a background check through Austin Partners in Education each year, and complete an AISD Confidentiality Agreement. Please see the volunteer page of our website for more details.
