Prospective Family Tour THIS Friday!
If you have any friends or neighbors who are interested in learning more about Travis Heights Elementary, please be sure to invite them to a Prospective Family Tour. The next tour is THIS Friday, December 8th at 8am. Additional January tour dates are listed on our calendar.
Tour Helpers Needed!
One of the things prospective families like best is the chance to talk with current families to get the inside scoop on the school. If you are willing to share your thoughts with new parents, we’d love your help with the Prospective Family Campus Tours. No experience or specific knowledge required- just a willingness to share your story! Please contact volunteers @ travisheightselementary.com to learn more about how you can help.
THES Has A Wishlist!
There are a quite a few supplies we are always in need of. Check out the list on the attached flyer and throw a couple of extra items in your shopping cart the next time you are out!
Help Us Keep the Communications Flowing!
Want to be one of the first to know about what’s going on at school? Consider joining the Communications team. This group helps ensure that parents are kept informed about what’s happening at the school by updating the website, maintaining our social media presence, and sending the e-folder/Wednesday Folder each week. Additional help is always needed, contact volunteers @ travisheightselementary.com for more information.
We are working on creating a team of volunteers to help care for the THES chickens on weekends and holidays. Training will be provided and we are looking for families to take care of the chickens for a weekend at a time. This will involve coming to the school daily to feed/water, clean the coop and let them roam free for a bit. If you are interested in helping out, please email volunteers @ travisheightselementary.com.

The cafeteria will have information about the school available and ice cream/non-allergen icy pops available to cool off from the heat. Please plan on stopping by the cafeteria with your child.
The social is also a great time to bring school supplies to your classroom too! School supplies can be placed in a bag with your child’s name on it. Please do not place your child’s name on individual items/school supplies within the bag. If you cannot make the social, school supplies can be brought in the first week of school. Questions about supplies can also be posed to teachers at the social or during the first week of school as well, and purchased thereafter.
