Hello Thunderbirds!

PTA meeting & K/1st Performance TOMORROW!

All performing Kinder/1st grade students should be dropped off in the Cafeteria by 5:50pm. Then head to the Gym for our PTA meeting (childcare will be available). We’ll be electing new officers and approving next year’s budget. You can view the proposed budget online ahead of time here. Scroll down to the Budget section.

Friday is Coffee Chat!

Meet in the cafeteria at 8am for a conversation about proposed changes for next school year: Early release days and Universal Breakfast.

Carnival Captains Wanted!

We are so excited to welcome Manuel Garcia-Collins and Toni Wakefield as our 2017 Carnival Co-Coordinators! They have taken on a big role to keep this THES tradition alive, but they can’t do it alone. Please consider joining this awesome Carnival crew as one of their Team Captains. We need Captains for the following teams:

  • Publicity/Marketing
  • Setup/Cleanup
  • Volunteers
  • Supplies
  • Sponsorship/Donations

Fundraising Team = Awesome!

Let’s give a HUGE Thank You to Jonna Ball for stepping up to take on leadership of our Fundraising team. We’d also like to give an Appreciation Pump 💪??💪?? 💪?? to Oliver Bernstein and Kathleen Mulhausen for helping to organize this year’s successful PTA fundraiser. This trio raised over $29,000 in one week – Amazing!

Think how much more successful they could be with a full team! You can help make it happen! We are looking for volunteers to:

  • Identify potential donors and collaborators
  • Research or write grant proposals
  • Request donations
  • Build business partnerships
  • Write or design communication materials
  • Assist with database data entry
  • Prepare thank you’s for donors
  • Plan events
  • Create media presentations
