Thank you to everyone who helped support our 21st annual Young Writers’ Workshop yesterday!
These amazing enrichment events are only possible with the dedication of many volunteers.
A great big Appreciation Pump 💪 ! 💪 ! 💪 ! to Erin Walter for coordinating the workshop and Delia Mitchell for arranging the hospitality. You ladies ROCK! Thank you also to the awesome writers who donated their time to share their love of writing with our students.
Next week is your chance to give THES some love!
Monday kicks off our annual no hassle “I Travis Heights Elementary” fundraiser. This week a special form and envelope will go home with your child.
Students who return their envelope with a donation (or are indicated in the online donation form) by next Friday, February 18th will receive a free “I Travis Heights” keychain.
Our goal is $30,000 and 100% family participation, so please give what you can.
Every dollar counts!

Home Slice on South Congress is donating 10% of sales, and Juke Automotive is matching the donation!

Carnival Captains Wanted!
A THES tradition since the 1940s, Fall Carnival is a night filled with games, food, and fun, all while raising money to support our school! Help us keep this awesome tradition alive by volunteering as Carnival Co-Coordinator. Duties include supervising teams of volunteers to organize games/booths, provide publicity, recruit volunteers and arrange for logistics at the event. Captains are also needed for Carnival teams- Booths, Publicity, Setup/Cleanup, Volunteers, Supplies, and Sponsorship. For more information, please contact: volunteers @ travisheightselementary . com
