Hope y’all had a fabulous break and are settling back into the routine smoothly!
Just a few announcements today…
School IS in session this Friday
Remember we have a slightly different calendar than the rest of AISD this year. In exchange for our whole week off at Thanksgiving we are holding school on some days that AISD is not. This Friday is one of those days. It is a Good Friday to be in school. 🙂 (See what I did there?)
STAAR Tests March 29 & 30
4th & 5th Graders will be testing on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Make sure your kiddos get a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast. There will be no parents lunching with the 4th & 5th Graders next week as well.
If you have a little one who gets tense with tests, here is a link I found that may be helpful.
Movie Night March 31
Join us for a free screening of Most Likely To Succeed – This documentary offers an inspiring look at what students and teachers are capable of – if we have the vision and courage to transform our schools.
The goal is to help schools move forward by reimagining their purpose, and creating learning experiences that prepare students for life.
Entrance is free but please Register Now so we have an accurate count of attendees.
