Speaking of Fundraisers… next week is the big one! It’s our annual, no hassle,
I Travis Heights Elementary Fundraiser.
Keep any eye out here and in your kiddo’s backpack for more info, or just go ahead and take care of your obligation to your school and community (yes, it truly is an obligation, perhaps even a moral imperative) and donate online. Show some love and let’s keep all our unique and innovative projects funded and strong!
Ok, now look at the flower again because it also works as a visual for the next announcement… (and yes, I do recognize the irony of talking about morality while posting a flower drawing stolen off the internet… can we agree to overlook that for now? Thanks! 🙂 )
Beautification Day is Feb 20th
Bring your friends, family, and yard tools! Let’s make our grounds really pop for Spring! This day is always a lot of fun and a great opportunity to get to know families at our school.
The Whole Child Book Study – this Friday
THES will be hosting a book study on Friday mornings starting Feb 5th. The book will be “The Whole-Brain Child: 12 Revolutionary Strategies to Nurture Your Child’s Developing Mind” by Daniel J. Seigel & Tina Payne Bryson Books will be provided.
