Science Fair Training – Tonight
6 p.m. in Ms. Penney’s Room (Kinder Hall): Science Fair projects will be due in January. Students in 3rd-5th grade are required to complete a project (K-2nd is optimal). This training is for parents to learn about expectations and standards for projects.
School Meeting & Student Performance Tomorrow Night
Come voice your opinion about Mission 75 funds raised last year. Watch our 2nd and 3rd graders perform. There will be a door prize and GOLDEN ROCK TICKETS for students who have family members attending. Childcare with snacks provided!
Coffee Chat
Friday – 11/20 @ 8:10am in the Cafeteria. Conversation about Homework and Brain Breaks – If you have questions, comments, concerns about your child’s homework or want to better understand how brain breaks and recess/WOW time are being used at school, please join us for the coffee chat this Friday.

Don’t forget, we trailblazed a new schedule at THES this year where we were given this week off. Teachers will be working but students gain two extra holiday days 🙂
Tamalada Returns!!
December 9th gather at THES to join in on an awesome and fun THES community tradition – making hundreds of delicious tamales! Contact Susana Rodriguez 512-414-3494 for more information.

Culutral Festival 2015
Plans are underway for Cultural Festival 2015 (Saturday, Dec 12th). This fun annual tradition celebrates the diversity in our school with performances, cultural tables, and a Mercado with items for sale. We would love a few extra volunteers to help with planning this year’s festival. Specifically, we are in need of volunteers to help organize our performers, cultural tables and decorations. If you have questions or can help in one of these areas, please contact: volunteers@travisheightselementary.com.
