School’s out for Summer…

Is it just me or do y’all have this scene from Dazed & Confused running through your head every year at this time?

hmmm… just now watching this, I’m wondering what schools they used for filming? Anybody know? Leave a comment on efolder post on facebook if you do.

Some quick business to take care of first:

Have you registered for next year yet?

This is very important to do now. AISD registration is happening right now. ALL students must re-register EVERY year. If your child is not registered, they will not be assigned to a class for next year! Please complete your online registration this week by going to my.austinisd.org. If you need assistance, please come by the school office.

Remember you’ll need your student’s id#. You can find them on their report cards. (which conveniently come home tomorrow.)

Help the teachers move!

Several of our THES teachers will be teaching in different classrooms next year and they could use some help moving their boxes and furniture to the new spaces this week. Moving times have been set for: Wednesday 1-3:30 pm and Thursday 8-11:30 am. If you are able to come and lend a hand during these times, please do! Check in at the office and they will direct you toward the teachers in need of assistance. For questions, contact: volunteers at travisheightselementary dot com
