My email:  kelly.guerra@austinisd.org

Mrs. Guerra joined our school as secretary and bookkeeper in August 2015.  She was born and raised in Austin and graduated from St. Edward’s University in 2004 with her BA in Theatre Arts.  Over the last decade, she has worked in administration and project management and with her wealth of expertise, she brings a passion for education and children.  She loves seeing all of her little friends every day, and finding ways to bring smiles to their faces.  Mrs. Guerra is very knowledgeable about the inner workings of the school and is happy to help families find their way.  Her daughter is in the Dual Language program and her son will be a future Thunderbird when he is old enough too!

My email: giovanna.montalvo-sanchez@austinisd.org

Ms. Gio is our registrar and attendance clerk.  Since joining Travis Heights in 2013, she has become an integral part of our Thunderbird family, making sure that everyone is at school and helping out in the office.  Currently, she is going to college part time where she hopes to earn her master’s degree and become a counselor.  Ms. Gio enjoys seeing all of the students and their parents every day, and loves helping out.

DANIELA LICONA – PARENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

My email:  daniela.licon@austinisd.org

Daniela just moved to Austin from Merida, Yucatan, where she had been living since 2001. Her journey began when she started volunteering as an English teacher.  As a teacher, she helped families in poverty become civically engaged in activities in their community.  She ended up creating a Development Center for students of all ages. After that, she decided to study Educational Psychology and has been working since 2010 in different schools with children that have learning disabilities, as well as students with daily emotional problems. She is very excited to start this new journey in Austin as a Parent Support Specialist and hopes that she can help all of you as much as possible with anything you need!
