Your kids have no idea what you do for work? Let’s change that!
THES is planning a Career Day and would like any and every one that is willing to talk about their career to participate.
What?
A 15 minute talk focused around a few of these questions:
- What is your job/career title?
- What education, training, or special skills are needed?
- What duties do you have?
- Why did you choose this career?
- What is your favorite thing about what you do?
- What is the hardest thing about what you do?
- How long do you work (hours/days)?
- What things did you learn in school helps you with your job/career today (ex. reading, math skills, etc)
- What can be done now to get a job/career like you?
- What is a cool fact that many people don’t know about your job/career?
