May 6th–10th
With less than a month left of school, we are taking the week of May 6th to honor our wonderful Thunderbird teachers! Please participate in what works for your family and remember a thank you, smile, hug and high-five goes a long way to make a teacher feel appreciated! Here are some suggestions for this very special week:
Mon: Bring in a little snack for your teacher (apple, chocolate, granola bar, orange, etc).
Tues: Take a few minutes with your child to write a thank you note/card for your teacher.
Wed: Bring in a little something on their wish list or a something that you know they would like.
Thurs: Give a big thanks, card or treat to our specials teachers and anyone on the THES staff!
Fri: Bring a flower to school to create a classroom bouquet for your teacher.
We are also organizing daily activities to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate all they do for our children Please use the links below if you can help with any of these events.
Finally, we are trying to organize a raffle for teachers. If you would like to donate an item for the raffle, please email volunteers@travisheightselementary.com.
