Travis Heights Elementary School’s 75th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign
HELP US CELEBRATE 75 YEARS
For 75 years, Travis Heights Elementary has embraced everything that makes it unique. In 2012, the school took this a big step forward. 99% of Travis Heights parents, teachers and administrators voted to make Travis Heights Elementary School their own.
The AISD board unanimously agreed to this innovative plan, and Travis Heights became Austin’s first District-Approved, Parent and Teacher Led Community School.
As the entire district watches, Travis Heights Elementary is showing what can happen when a community commits to building a school that helps children and families thrive without giving up who they are. We are building the model for all Austin community schools – and as a result, for all Austin communities.
But we cannot do it without your help.
