About Me:

Mrs. Meisels came to THES in 2014 and has been teaching for over 20 years. Each year, she loves seeing the dynamics that emerge as she starts working with her students. She enjoys hearing students’ stories, discovering their talents, playfulness and aptitudes. Her favorite subjects are math, traditional literature, poetry, and she loves teaching strategies for math, reading, and writing. Mrs. Meisels loves everything about THES – project based learning, the dual language program, the parent and community support, her fellow teachers, and the administration. When she’s not at school, she loves to kick back at home with her family or travel the world. She loves all shades of light purple – from orchid to lavender and everything in between!
