About Me:
Ms. Colston is a recent graduate of Texas Tech University and couldn’t be more excited to begin her career teaching 1st grade at Travis Heights! She loves watching students work together to discover the world around them and is eager to share her love for reading with her students. Ms. Colston’s favorite things are trying new food trucks with her boyfriend, Keiondre, going on runs with her pup, Star, or snuggling up for a Harry Potter marathon with her cat, Excalibur. Above all else, she hopes to create an environment where each student knows they are accepted, loved, and capable of amazing things

About Me:
Ms. Zsohar graduated from the University of North Texas and is excited to begin her teaching career at Travis Heights Elementary. She is eager to help learners grow and expand the boundaries of their mind. Ms. Zsohar loves to visit National Parks to camp and hike new trails. In her free time, Ms. Zsohar spends time with her friends trying new food and exploring the beautiful city of Austin.
Wesley Paparone

Mr. Paparone began teaching 1st grade here at THES in 2015, though he had several years of teaching experience before joining us. One of the things that he loves the most about THES is the blend and cultures that you find in our school. Everyone always has a smile on their face! Mr. Paparone lived in Guatemala for three years where he met his beautiful wife, Mafer. He has also traveled to Mexico, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Thailand. His favorite color is turquoise and his favorite animal is the Liger (half tiger, half lion). He wanted to school at Hogwarts, but instead went to University of Maryland, College Park. Mr. Paparone wants his future students and their families to know that he loves to have fun and be a little silly when he teaches!
Lina Nuncio

About Me:
Ms. Nuncio has been teaching for more than 18 years, and began at THES in 2010. She graduated from Texas State University back when it was still Southwest Texas University! She loves to see students grow in their learning, and being able to teach in two languages is one of her favorite things about Travis Heights. She and her husband Ben have two children, Nicholas who is at THES, and Aly who is at Ann Richards. Ms. Nuncio has traveled to several places, including Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Florida and Durango, Mexico. She loves all shades of the color blue, and adores dogs and puppies. In her free time, she loves running, hiking, and going dancing! She is very excited about getting to know her new students and their parents!
