Kinder students studied the still life as subject matter by looking at some famous prints.  We created our still life one piece at a time, vases, baskets and fruit by copying what was being drawn on the board.  Students used the frottage method on the fruit and used patterns and stripes on their vases.  All were colored using construction paper crayons.  Everything was cut out and finally all assembled on a “table top”, overlapping objects to create a three-dimensional look.
